Too Much Zen in My Head

Google sent me an alert this snowy morning letting me know the latest News Stories, Blogs and Website that have recently used the term Zen in their content. Well this morning’s alert is very amusing and quite mind filling in its presentation.

On my morning list of 5 blogs using the word Zen all 5 are of a commercial nature with Zen Cart taking up three places on the list. On the list of 8 news items there is a Detective, a race horse, a search engine, the IRS, Thai food, heavy metal and flimflam financial planners all tied to the word Zen. finally Google returned just one website with a new usage of the word Zen, this being an announcement of a lecture to be given on the Buddhist channel.

What does all this say about the state of Zen?  Not a damn thing… and who cares anyways..
